Narrative Pro is not a beginner friendly plugin. Whilst most main features are exposed to Blueprint, C++ knowledge will be required to modify/extend certain parts of the plugin. You are responsible for trying the free demo and ensuring you are happy with the quality, as well checking out our tutorials and making sure the difficulty is managable for you BEFORE buying the tool. NOT YOUR AVERAGE FRAMEWORK
Most frameworks fail to deliver because they are entirely written in Blueprints, by inexperienced developers. Whilst Narrative Pro lets you use C++ or Blueprints, the big difference is we would never build our entire game in Blueprints – a recipe for disaster on a large project. We roll our framework the same way the pros do: We use C++ to roll out all the core systems, many of which are built with GAS, CommonUI, and other industry grade tools and then let you extend all that power in C++ or Blueprints.

- Narrative Tales Quests, a powerful quest system with a node based quest editor. There isn’t a quest you can’t create with the Tales editor thanks to the flexible state machine based quest designer.
- Narrative Arsenal, a combat system built using Epics Gameplay Ability System plugin, which includes support for many different types of combat, whether you’re making a medieval RPG or Modern shooter!
- Narrative Save Subsystem, a global save system that saves the entire world right out of the box. Every quest you’ve done, your equipment, every NPC, every inventory – the entire world is globally saved to disk.
- Narrative Inventory, a networked Inventory System that supports any type of item you can imagine. Included with Narrative Pro are Equippable items, Weapon items, Readable books, Consumable items, and more.

THE EASIEST SOLUTION ON THE MARKETPLACE
Whilst pro is extensive and will take time to learn as any major game framework would, we build our tools the same way Epic build theirs, so they feel like any other part of Unreal Engine. Create a Quest/Dialogue Blueprint, design your Quest/Dialogue with the built in Node Based editors, and start playing your quests and dialogues right away. You’ll be blown away by how simple Narrative is to use.

MAKE GAMES LIKE THE PROS
Most major shipped games use C++, and lean on Blueprints where they make sense, rather than making entire games in Blueprint. They also lean on Epics tech, such as CommonUI, and Gameplay Ability System, rather than trying to write their own UI and combat systems.
This is exactly how we’ve built Narrative Pro. We’re not re-inventing the wheel – we’re rolling out UE5 for you the same way the pros would do it.
